2 Skimmers for Break in period?

breaking in a new in stand skimmer... should I continue to run the old HOT skimmer while the other breaks in.. or will it make the process longer?

I wouldnt think running the HOTB would alter the break in, the break in is pretty much just a buildup of organics on the sides of the skimmer for the bubble to stick to, thats why when you thoughly clean a skimmer, it takes tha smae amount of time to start working properly again as it did new

i would run them both, running the hot skimmer wont screw up the breakin of your new skimmer. the breakin is just the plastic getting 'seeded'.
