Fish poem

My wifes friend whipped this up on the IM as she was stewing about her old cat who now pees on the floor. This has been my sentiment for nearly 20 years.

I hate my dog
I hate my cat
I like my fish
Imagine that

My dog he barks
My cat she pees
My fish just swims
In tiny seas

What’s not to love
About my fish?
He keeps his mess
Within his dish.

My dog could leave
My cat could too,
But without my fish…
Well, I’d be blue.

I awoke one chilly morning to spy a little sparrow sitting in the snow. I open the window & placed some crumbs of bread upon the sill. As the little sparrow ate the bread, I slammed the window back down & squashed his little head.
