For me, it was this guy. Forgive the rubbish photos, but they should at least give an idea of the amazing baby blue color (together with bright lime yellow accents on the corallites).

Which of the corals you've lost do you regret the most?

Heck I regret any and all I had to sell/give away when I broke down my tanks! But what immediately comes to mind was this frogspawn.

Oooh. I can see why. Look at that green. 8)

I never used to like LPS, but having seen some really nice ones, I'm a bit of a convert and my next tank will have a few...

Any of the healthy Elegance I gave up or traded in the 90's.

I killed this Trachy a long time ago by letting it get partially buried. It started to recede and then was a lost cause. It grew a ton in my care for 2 years. When I got it I thought it wouldn't make it for longer than a few weeks. Really bummed me out.

Here's what it looked like when I got it.

And shortly before it died.

I just lost my trachy last week and it looked exactly like that. I didn't replace the bulbs for 9 months and one day without warning it was melting. It was the first thing in the tank when I begun. Just made me sick. Should have paid more attention to that tank like the others. I have never seen another till you posted.

It's that sort of coral that convinces me to try LPS next time. Stunning color.
