I think that really sucks. It's a shame, people are terrible. I wanna go to that fish store in NY and lay in on the owner. They sell them here too I saw them at pets plus before and at the hidden reef. How many do you think die from this???

I think its odd, maybe cruel, I don't know. They tattoo dogs and horses, but I guess thats not cosmetic but has a purpose and this is just to sell some extra fish.

Its been going on for years.
I'm not all enthusiastic about it, but I can't really condemn it either. Its done to captive bred fish, and is much less 'hurtful' than what we do to our own food animals. No one seems to care about raising fish for the purpose of feeding them alive to other fish and animals, which seems much more cruel than a tattoo.
