Is anyone feeding foods aimed at angels and other sponge feeders? I'm curious what effect this has on the other fish in the tank, and whether your angel (and other fish) enjoy these types of foods.
I have yes, and those foods worked out just fine...other fish ate those foods as well.
Most angels I've kept are eclectic in their feeding habits, and not obligate spongivores by any means.
I tried angel formula once when I first got my Venustus Angel. It didn't go after it and none of my other fish ate it. I guess they didn't really enjoy it either. Just my experience.

I have used Hikari Mega Marine Angel Formula for the past few years and angels I've kept all eat with gusto. It's primarily sponge but has other ingredients as well. My butterflies also go after the sponge content, as do some of the other fish.
