Hello, I live in Oahu and Im having trouble finding stuff for my tank also, I have not heard of the Molakai farm. I tried to order stuff from the big island at IPSF.com but they would not ship to the other islands. It is almost impossible to have a nice tank here(Thats Legal). I have "live rock in my 65 gallon tank that was sold to me with the tank already established but I need something to reseed my rocks and get more coralline and critters on it. The tank still lacks full growth on all rocks, most are bare. If you have any other info on the Molakia farm I would appreciate it if I can get some info on it!
hey, yea there is a fish farm on molokai that sells live rock. they do have a website but its down rite now i guess. maybe itll be up again soon. but they will ship to oahu. minimum of 80lbs for a order though. you can try enchanted lake pet store they do sell live rock over there from the fish farm but its expensive. 10 dollars per pound from that store. direct from the fish farm is 2 dollars a pound. they price gouge way too much. i just ordered and am going to get some rock in soon so i will post pics maybe of it up here. but if you just want to reseed your tank ill just get a peice of trash like a glass bottle or some plastic thing covered in coralline and place it were you want to seed.
Hey, thanks for the help on the rocks and forums...It's good to find other people in Hawaii going through the same issues as I'am. Let me know how that rock is once you recieve it, Im definetly interested in some new rocks for my tank!
