What is Zeovit?

Was looking around the Euro sites and saw this Zeovit stuff....Weird reactor, gotta wash it off to work. But I cant find out what it does.....

It's basically a bacterially driven system to reduce phosphate and nitrate to very low levels. Vodka dosing is a similar idea...
