Thrive Analytics - scam to sell products or a potentially great analytical program to help people with their tanks?

i'm kinda on the fence about it- it doesnt seem to PUSH their products(it does recommend them tho) too hard, but the analysis part looks kinda interesting and potentially helpful...your opinions?

It's a legitimate business and business model (yes, they will try to sell you their chemicals but you are not obligated to do so). I think a lot of busy or experienced aquarists can benefit from this service. I'm sure a lot of them will also end up buying Thrive's chemicals, which I have no problem with.

They have asked other companies to take part as well. To me its a good thing, not a scam.

the more I check it out, the more interested I'm getting- I wonder if I can figure out a way to get the ReefAngel controller to upload data to their logging programs automatically...

I can put Phillip (Thrive) and Roberto (Reef Angel) together in an email and see what they can do... good suggestion, I am sure Phillip will be interested to hear it
