Co2 Scrubber Help

Need help with Co2 scrubber.
So I plumbed the scrubber to my skimmer to make it a recirculating scrubber. But my ph still below 8.1. I used the co2 media that brs sells. What else can I do?

I have mine setup the same way and ran the co2 scrubber inlet to an open window.im assuming your running a calcium reactor and thats the reason for the excess co2.i also went as far as an air pump with an airstone in the sump

First. Double check your ph probe. Make sure it is accurate before trying to fix something that isn’t broken.
Run air hose to outside and open up windows will help without the CO2 media. I find the co2 media don’t work too well and I don’t want addition cost of long term use.

Yes I'm going to do that. I thought I would save on media by making it a recirculating scrubber

i set mine up similar and it’s been working great for me
ph has jumped from 7.5-7.9 and now 7.8-8.2
i’m using medical grade co2 media not sure if that makes a difference but i haven’t changed the media in months
growth has been much better so it is worth it if you get it to work

I decided to drill a hole through my house and ran a 1in pvc pipe through. It seem to the trick now my ph is 8.2/8.3
