what are you guys using to lift the skimmers out of the water (in the sump). I did this because it keeps my skimmer from going nuts with it too deep in the sump. .... Currently using a 2" sheet of bio (block?). Either way, this is no good because the blocks break down. Happened to me today and my skimmer went crazy (of course) and it also ended up on an angle. Which caused the water skimmed water to leak out onto the floor. Luckily I caught it somewhat early. I'm drying out the bottom of my tank right now.... Id like some type of base to lift the skimmer a couple inches from the floor of the sump. And I don't have a 3-d printer to make one.
