I know a few guys had problems with them. I had a 120g from them that I was happy with. They tend to get a little sloppy with the silicone which you can trim with a razor. I would suggest you are VERY specific on the details of the tank or you will get something that you were not expecting.
Glass cages is really hit or miss, some tank turn out great and others turn out totally opposite of what they ordered and then they refuse to give refunds.
I've got a rimless GC tank, starphire 3 sides. Its built very well, never had any problems with it. The silicone isnt perfect, and the polishing on the glass edges could be better but all in all a good tank. Delivery went smoothly. They are abrupt on the phone so just be ready with exactly what you want. I believe Aquariums for you would build a rimless tank, probably the only local option. What size tank are you looking for? Mine might be for sale soon
Mines smaller than that
They are a decent company to deal with, they are about half the price of any other quote you will get, guaranteed. You do get what you pay for...
Ive been thinking of getting a 50g tall rimless from glass cages. I love the way they look, the price is nice but Id have to go to Whiteplains to pick it up on 4/20(almost 2 months). My question is to Bad Coffee how did you get F'd by them? Was it just a sloppy silicon job? Did the thing leak? and in general are rimless tanks more suceptible(sp?) to leaking since there is no brace?
