Cleaning Display Aquarium with water and White Viniger.

Does anyone know if filling my Aquarium with water and Adding vinigar to help in removing excess algae, and other nasty stuff will have any effect on the silicon seals? I'm looking to fill it for 2 days to make it look brand new before I start anything. Then it will be drained and wiped clean with Paper Towels. Thanks in advance for any help.

Vinegar, should not effect your silicone seal.

and i believe that is the best way to clean a used tank... just my 2 cents...

Dont forget a med-stiff bristle brush for scrubbing. And razors you might need them too.

You don't need to soak entire tank for 2 days. If you flip the tank and put it on its back, just put enough vinegar to cover the back wall, and 1 to 2 hours later you can wipe everything off. Then do it for the sides and front and you'll be done in less than 6 hours.
