They will both get their fill, I dont know what kind of fish you have but most likely they will eat it if they are reef safe. Not the big aggressive groupers and such fish, I can't imagine they would bother.

Im gonna assume that since it is freeze dried, once it is added to water it will expand a bit and fish and corals alike will benefit from them. I would start out with very small amounts first and see how it works and how the tank inhabitants like it.

It's good stuff and my fish love it, but freeze dried sucks. All it wants to do is float. But the fix is to make a mix of your own frozen food using ro/di water. I am trying to finish up all my freeze dried CRAP this way. I make a mix of my brine, mysis, cyclopeze, selecon, and ro/di. I do this because it allows everything to soak up the nutrients and water so it won't float as much when I feed it.

Yes, I will need to mix it, because it didn't look like it expanded when I threw it in the water. It's just small pecs. I'll try mixing it with the flakes and ro/di water.

I try to avoid frozen cubes because of the phosphates. I only feed frozen to my tank once a week, at most two.

What a bummer.

This stuff is powder (apparently I didn't know that). How do you feed you fish with this?

It comes in freeze dried and frozen, We use the frozen all the time, pretty good stuff..fish go for it and corals open up their polyps when introduced to the tank. I agree with masterswimmer, next time get the frozen, it cost about $10.
