Im looking for something that will sift sand in my 75 gallon to help me with my diatom problem. Nitrates are just about 0 or 10 or less ppm, phosphates are undetectable on api test kit. I have a mandarin and im looking for something that will not compete with it for food. I have a sand sifting cuke but he hasnt been able to completely sift the whole 75 footprint. Will a goby eat the mandarins food and complete with it? Im thinking nassarius snails. With a mandarin and a sand sifting star im looking for something that wont compete for food.
