A better soultion would be to either slice them off of the rock (some will peel off in 'mats'), or you can kalk them, or put a dark plastic over them using a rubberband or another rock to keep them shielded from light until they die.
Do keep in mind they are animals, and if possible the best idea would be to cut them off the rock and pass them onto someone else who would like to have them.
Unless you never plan to frag (to sell...) anything in your tank again, I would not suggest you add Sundial snails to it to get rid of zoas that you don't care for. Other members would not appreciate ending up with Sundial snails (or eggs from them) in their tanks.

How About Just Trade The Rock They Are On For Plain Rock Sure Someone Would Trade You

Hi jerl77 ;-)
The suggestions/recommendations above are good and constructive.
Should you decide for cutting them of, which I hope you don't, then please do not forget to use surgery gloves or similar, as zoos can be very toxic. In the mean time while I, or some one interested about it, prepare a post about it to put here in the thread Reef venomous-dangerous critters, please read about it here and here and here and here

Cheers
Pedro Nuno ;-)

Lol, Marki, I was thinking the same thing..

Need help? I can lend a hand for free corals.

I've tried kalk & RO injection on zoas and shrooms. It didn't seem to phase them. I had to pull the rocks out :(

Nothing beats a hammer and chisel!
