Haa ha. I told you they are a mated pair. No one believed me. Ok ok.. You will have to feed the male as he will carry all of the food back to the female which will crush all of the food and let it pass out of her gills. It will filter down to the babies as they get older. In the beginning they will eat only what is in the water column (plankton) Cyclopseze will do very well after the first 3 weeks. you will not see the female for a long time after they have mated.

Good luck. I miss them already.

Hey Kasei, the nest is hugh there are about 2000 eggs atleast. Where they have the nest I can see them clearly. I didn't even see the eggs, Me and my Brother was doing my weekly water change and he said what are those yellow things and I looked and saw a very large nest. I'm so exicted can't wait to see them hatch. I'll keep you posted. thanks agian for selling me them.

It will happen but you cant have any type of carnivore in the tank for them to survive. Brine shrimp artremia and ground flake will make a good food. The overflow/skimmer will also take some of the hatchlings but if you have a sump with a refugium before the skimmer they will survive in there because of the food in the refuge (pods and such)I only had one left after I took down the tank and it didnt make it due to no sand bed to hide in.

Good luck
