Hello,

I think I need to upgrade my sump pump from Eheim 1060 to Maxi Jet 5500. I couldn't find any reviews on this pump.... so what do you guys think? Any good ideas? Any Pump Recommendations?

These are awesome pumps. They're cheaper than the Eheims and just as quiet and efficient, if not more so. They come with suction cups, which can be helpful in noise reduction as well. I've had mine running for a short time (only about 5 months) but haven't had any problems.

I was going to say.. I highly recommend contacting Saltwatercritters, they'll hook you up. I would talk with Russ/Jim about flow recommendations as they were really helpful w/ me. They won't steer you wrong.
