??? on a sump size??

Hi everyone im building a 90 gallon tank and i was just wonderring on what size of sump should i put im thinking on a 29 or 30 gallon is that to big?? what size should i get???? any suggestion????

as big as you can go..average for a 90 gallon is 30. Depending on if you are putting it inside a cabinet obviously it has to be able to fit. Under a metal stand you can get away with bigger for sure. Take your measurements carefully and make your descision based on that. Good luck!

I have a 20 gallon in my 90 in the cabinet

I would go with costum sump 40g or so u want room for a nice skimmer filter sock ,refugium space then heater, probs, return pump media reactors etc. its nice to have space for all your gadgets.
