just wondering if anyone has had experience with misbar black clowns and anemones?
my little 15 gallon tank is cycling now and i have 2 misbar black clowns on hold at my lfs. wanted to get an anemone... but i didn't know which one i should get?
which one would have the best chance for the clowns to host it

You cycling the tank for the clowns and anemone? If so ,you want to give the tank at least 6 months before introducing the nem. Plus, 15 gals is kinda small for an anemone.As far as your question regarding which type of nem, I would say they would host any nem that a typical occelaris or percula clown would host. I dont have any experiance with those type of clowns tho, so thats just a guess.

the height would be more of the problem 8" and all start out small and get large, i had a pair of mis-bar black occ and they hosted, zoa's, frogspawn, rbta, gtba, lta xenia and so on. they will host what they want i have found out, took longest to get them in the rbta though, ill try and fins ya some photo's

If your just putting a Bubbletip in with two ocellaris in a 15 gallon you should be fine. Percs and ocellaris are the smallest of clowns.


I wouldnt put anything else.

Right now i have a 45 cube with two clowns and two carpets.

I had misbar black clowns that I sold. The female misbar was the only clown I have had to-date that has hosted an anemone. It was a green carpet anemone which I still have and my other clowns have yet to host.
