HELP! My tank is "bowing"

I got myself a used rimless 180gal tank last September. Dimension: 72x24x24.

Last night I noticed that the back and front is "bowing" which makes we worried. As a matter of fact sleepless night.

Do I need to worry about this? Or this is normal for a rimless tank? Can I do something to fix this "bowing". Any ideas, help!!!

if you say its bowing i would guess it is. I would never own a 72" 180 without a rim. Very scary....
Also where did you buy this tank from?

Dude i would start relocating stuff. Yoy have a picture. Ir go get new tank asap. With solid stand..my wife would flip. I don't thibk it should be flexing..either way I couldn't have it. I'm going to go to ny tank and chexk with straight edge. Get back to you in 5.

Are you sure that this tank was originally built as a 'rimless'?

Got it from Craigslist... Picked it up in PA. I thought a got a good deal for $550. Now, I felt like I was cheated bad... grrrr...

Do you know the manufacturer of the tank? If you can figure out who made it, you might be able to buy a new top frame and save the tank before it 'splodes.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I will definitely update tonight. Good thing I haven't sold my previous 90gal. Geez, I need to do some cleaning and moving tonight. Grrrr....

Good luck man, I have nightmares about water leaks and water all over my floor. My wife would flip the f$&k out on me if that ever happens!
