The aqua safe is 1 prefilter and 3 carbon filters per 'set' I go through way more prefilters than carbon.

A case of prefilters from Buckeye is 40 filters. With shipping they'll be about$3.50 each (5 micron).

I'm still waiting to hear how many are in a case of fillable DI carts.

BC, Its four different pre & post filters, i don't use carbon for tank water. My unit is set up for RO/Carbon for drinking & RO/DI for the tank. Aqua safe is $39.95 for 4lbs of DI resin Buckeye is $39 for 5lbs of DI resin.
I think ill order a new unit from AquaSafe, Buckeye has good prices.

Ok, so back to the original post -

I tested my output today and I am reading 28 on my tds (wondering why I have cyano). I have a full set of filters (including a TFC membrane), but wouldn't mind picking up 2 micron blocks, a carbon block and color changing DI (or the refillable kind).

So BC, thanks for picking my up :)

It will sit in my drawer until I get around to instaling it.

that's the same for all of us.
i'd be embarrased to say how many times i forgot my RO/DI on - AND I HAVE THE FLOAT VALVE SITTING IN A BOX! I finally decided to install it, and now i cant find parts to it - go figure, i'll have to wait for them to pop up now.

I'm guaging interest in RO filters. I'm looking at www.buckeyefieldsupply.com for prefilters and DI changes.

I was looking at 1 & 5 micron prefilters, and the refillable DI cartridges and resin.

So, does anyone need filters?

So where in the above quote (the first post on the thread) say anything about tds meters? :P I'd say go back and see who brought it up.

I've got to do some research and find out the best place to buy filters. My TDS is over 30 right now. I'll get the membrane from ebay. If I can get filters cheap too, I'll buy them at the same time. If not, I'll order them from Buckeye (Unresistable Blue here on MR)
