Fungiid anthocauli.

Excerpt: Reproduction can be sexual but is often encountered in the form of asexually produced daughter colonies, called anthocauli. These asexual bits grow and break off a parent, making their lives on the bottom separately...Acanthocauli attached on a rock in captivity.

ok ,,baby plate ?> Its around 3 1/2" now yet no plate ,just a stalk and lots of flesh .

so my next question is ,how long does a plate coral take for the plate to grow ,Ive seen and sold 2 to 3 " plate corals before .this is way bigger then those ,plus i do know it looks like a plate coral

That thing he got is big now I think its what we all have been guessing it was. I have one too with bright green tentacles and orange mouth. Ronen does yours have a different colored mouth. Id say if it has a colored mouth its a fungia if not its a polyphillia since the one I have doesn't have a colored mouth. well at least the one Kris gave me doesn't.its pretty and bright as hell but he's banned to the back because its got beef with everything.
