I haven't seen any fiber optics lighting on our market yet, but they use it in the horticulture industry. I don't think what they have is meant to be under water though, its for dispersing MH lighting over many plants. They use the loc-line for its movement/container.
I had such a laugh the other day tormenting my freinds fish with a lazer pointer (wouldn't do it to mine cuz it's mean :wink: ). They were going nuts trying to eat the spot, it looks great when they come straight at you to munch it cuz when they open their mouths it lights up red.
still no sharks with lazer beams..... hmm, back to the sump with me then

WAY expensive!!!! I have used this on a few boats we have built. Very rugged and well built product. But dayum expensive!!!!
