Elegance Coral

How do I frag an elegance coral? I haven't fragged many corals but I have done it, but have no idea how to go about fragging this coral.

That's a sensitive coral to do it with.I can be wrong.Others will chime in.

+1...IMO, fragging will give you multiple dead corals, instead of just 1!

If it's doing good, don't push your luck.

that sucks. i was hoping it could be fragged so I can give a piece to a friend who's bought like 3 and they all died. this coral went from being 8 inches across to being a 1/4" little blob after Sandy. Now it's about 4"

Australian elegances are much hardier and do not die like many others do. There is some info here and there about this exact phenomenon.
Do not frag it (as mentioned above).

I guess I'll skip the fragging. If I decide to sell it, how much would this coral be worth?
I plan to increase movement in my tank so it might be too much flow for it.

The elegance will frag itself when ready, they drop small pieces off and that's when you get your frag. As for price that's hard to say with no size or color description.

It's green with purple tips,about 3-1/2" open and growing fast. It used to be 9" before.
