Branching gorgonian

do any of you have luck keeping these guys long term? If so, whats the trick?

started as 1 3" stick now its about 4 branches. 3 are about 8 - 10" tall and the 4th is about 4"

most photosynthetic ones r easy to keep due to the fact u dont have to feed them constantly. all they need is light and good flow.

rule of thumb: colors of brown or green ones r photosynthetic. most others r not n if not well fed, it will perish in the long run and therefore should not be kept in tanks, unless u can commit to such feedings like this member with an amazing tank:

The "flat" branched gorgonians (sorry, can't remember the sp. right now) are photosynthetic as are several species of encrusting type gorgonians. I've found green, tan and purple morphs of both. I feed my reef tank rotifers, oyster eggs and cyclopeeze which helps feed the gorgs.
