  1. Lighting my Frag Tank

heres a 10k for 65 bucks http://www.islandaquatics.com/brands.php?brand_id=52 Im not crazy about using that bulb on that size tank. The 20l is very long and narrow so it will be really hard to spread the light properly without spilling alot of it outside the tank. I hate most flourescent bulbs...

You can use this calculator to figure out how much you need to add. http://jdieck1.home.comcast.net/chemcalc.html When dosing large ammounts you can mix each part seperately with a quart of RO water and drip it in over the course of a day. Just make sure the drip lines are at oppsite ends of...

I origionally wanted a white liner, but could not find one thick enough or big enough to fit this tank. The one i did find was way to expensive. The black may actually help me since i have the opposite problems with temps than most people do. Since im in a basment i have a hard time heating...

Im not sure of what im going to use yet. Coral farming is alot different than general reefkeeping. I have to make sure i use the least ammount of energy possible and maximize the growing area. We are going to start off with bare minimums in terms of lighting and flow and adjust from there...
