I posted a link to the picture of the nudi in the original post. But I can try to take a better one this week of just the little guy. I'll see what I can come up with.
Thanks to all who have sent me your stories, and information. Its been 3 days now and everything seems A-ok. Thank you all for...
Its certainly possible, but I didnt feel a sting or anything like that. I did see brown "goo" squeeze out of the creature as I squished it against the glass. I'm assuming thats what contained the toxins. However, after doing some reading, the kinds of toxins I was potentially exposed to are...
I had no noticable cuts or opening in my flesh, either at the point of contact, or on the nail or cuticle around the area. I looked pretty hard too since most of the doctors seemed skeptical that I could have absorbed the toxin the way that I did.
First I'd like to say that I'm ok. And second, I hope that some of you might avoid a simliar experience.
I have a small nano reef tank that I've recently set up at work. Its an 18g softy tank that I planned to showcase zooanthids in. So a few weeks ago, I purchased about 10 colonies from the...
Well, I know its a long shot, but recently after setting up my 18g work nano, I noticed a small red nudi living in my red zooanthids. When he stops moving, he looks exactly like one of the polyps. Pretty neat.
This morning, I noticed that it had layed some eggs on the polyps. Now I'm a little...

Took some time today to put up the pictures and descriptions of the new work nano, as well as update some of the galleries for the sump and such. Just thought I'd share.
I was thinking about going w/ two firefish to add some red to the tank. But they will come a bit later. Also was thinking two peppermint and one cleaner to round out the invert population.
This is my 18g nano at work. First attempt at a nano, so we'll see how it goes. All livestock was taken as frags from my 75g at home.

The tank will be in an office on my desk. Temps are controlled during the week, but the building turns off the AC on the weekends to save bills. I plan on using one of the micro chillers to make sure that I can keep the temps stable. Other than that...
Heh, check this out, it might give you some idea's as to how to insulate it. We are heating 575g of water w/ one 250w heater.

Good luck :)
If you are interested in trading for what we already have in the tanks, please just drop me a private message on instant messenger. brobak22 is my name. That way we can keep this thread about the sump, and happily discuss trades elsewhere :)
We'd be happy to set something up. I dont think that we're going to let this much water go to waste without trying to get a little something to pay the bills back out of it. I imagine we will try out hand at coral prop as soon as we can. Can't hurt. :)
