This med is for treating single cell fungus. Your white film is a bacteria from excess carbon. Why this med kills Bryopsis is still unknown.

I started the treatment last night. I left the GAC online as this med is not remove by the carbon.

tank update Here is a long over due tank update after a year of problem. My system is back on track. Add 2 48" T5s front of the tank and 2 36" T5s in the back. to remove the shadowing form the Kessil 360w . I also made custom mounts for my 4 Kessil Tank Image:

I had the same 4 light on my 75 before upgrading and I had grate color and growth. I have been think about adding 2 more kessil or two t5 to make up for the deeper tank. Any ideas would be help.

Are 4 Kessil a360w tuna blue too much for a 120 tank? (48"x24"x24") My LED are 5" above the water line. Its a mixed reef. My par level is 110 on the sand and 450 at the top of my rocks in the middle of the tank.
