I have done the float bag and change water, drip and have also done the float bag to temp and hten put animal directly into the tank(for corals only) and have had great success with all 3. Fish i do the drip method strictly though. Troy

I have a 75RR tank that i use a scwd on. My return on my tank is the mag 12 and the pump for the scwd is a 9.5. I used the hang on closed loop method. Water is drown out of the tank (not the overflow) and ran into the scwd then out each side to each end of the tank. Makes a nice back and forth...
