I'm with Baianotang, Kalk only (well, Mrs. Wages, anyway!) As with many around here, I have a shelf full of chemicals that I purchased when I started out. Tank looks _much_ better since I stopped using them a couple years ago.

I run my 2x400w, 12,000k coralife bulbs 11 hours/day, and 10 490nm blue led's 4 hours, overlapping the last hour of daylight. Great growth rates.

Thanks... Hard to tell in that pic, but the tank is mounted in a partition that devides my family room. The rockwork is minimal to allow visibility through both sides. Not ideal, perhaps, but I'm happy with it :) There's a ton more pictures in my photo gallery (www link below)
