    I am going to take some water to the LFS and see if they come up with the same nitrate level I do. Maybe it is my kit. Thanks!!!!

    Guy, My nitrates are at about 120. The funny thig is I did a 20% water change this morning and it didnt even phase either the nitrate or KH readings! What is ideal KH for a reef tank? I had aways had around 6 or 100 ppm.

    The chart goes dkh 1-12 , I am at a 12 and ppm, I am 200 ppm!

    I just tested my water and this is what I get: PH 8.3, CA 420, Nitrites 0, Nitrates OFF THE CHART, KA OFF THE CHART!!! HELP.

    I am sure this was not a bristle worm. I had just put some new snails in the tank and had turned off the light in the tank when I noticed the worm stretched across the sand. It appeared to have a smooth body, looked nothing like a bristle worm. The worm in the picture looks something like it ...

    this thing was stretched atleast eight inches but was still attached to the rock at the other end. It is thin and looks to be round and is smooth.

    I saw a thin, orange ,very long worm attack a small snail. It literaly wrapped itself around the snail and covered it with a slim and killed it! Can anyone tell me what kind of worm it is and how I can get rid of it?
