    That sucks. Atleast you caught when you did. I am parenoid, since this is this first sump I built from scratch. I check my sump in the morning before work and when I get home.

  8. My overflow bow thinks it a toilet

    I have a similar overflow set up but I have a hole drill on top with a tube going in the middle and I don't have the elbow in the overflow. I think you have air getting caught in the plumbing and it has no where to get out causing it to make the toilet bowl effect
