After reading the thread no one here mentioned a auto shutoff. This is also very important if your going to leave your system on and let a float switch turn it off. You can put hundreds of gallons down the drain without it. It a must buy with a float switch

The question would be are the bubbles being produced of the same amount and the same size as before. If there larger or the surface tension is always being disturbed then check your pump and the air intake for clogs

I would suggest you dont stop dosing cal all together with the 2 part. This might lower you cal to quick when dosing the alk part. I would do like 4 parts alk to two parts cal to keep the cal from bottoming out when adding large alk amounts. Or at least check your cal every time you add alk or...

They will get smaller as they are used up and you will see them tumble higher as they get smaller. When they tumble to high you should add more because if they tumble to fast they will just knock themselves around and get smaller not due to bacteria usage but due to smashing into each other...

I had two rare eels and can say they have poor eye sight and just grab at anything in the water during feeding time. It is very inportant to keep your hands out of the tank and feed the eel first before the other fish so this wont happen.

In my exp it does not work. The better skimmer will continue to skim while the other will just do almost nothing except maybe become a real large air stone. If you just have extra ones doin nothin go for it but its a real waste if your going to spend money on two good skimmers

What time do your lights turn off . In my experiance it is not unusal for corals to start to get ready for a night cycle about 30 min before the lights go out. Especially if the light cycle has not been changed in some time and the corals have grown to know it.

I would get another kit and try it before you do major changes to your tank. If things are alive in it then your readings do not seem right.

Testing on a regular bases is not always about what I read here and now its about seeing trends. Like going to see the doctor only when you get sick. then when you go you find you have cancer and it could have been prevented if you would have been tested regularly. It like o well sorry dude if...

Just make sure you keep you O2 levels very high or all the bacteria using it will lower your levels and possible kill fish or cause ich in the tank from stress.
