They are a sponge but they normaly grow in the shade?? i have a few here and there and they always grow in the shadows when i moved my rock one got turned up to the lights and it sorta disolved?? i dunno maybee a diffrent species but they are a sponge of some type

Thanks all i was also told by a tank designer that the glass is not heavy enough in a 180 oceanic to support the front and back without the center brace so i guess ill havta tough it.. for 400 bucks how can it be wrong

Anyone got a oceanic 180 they took the center plate out or made it smaller?? this one is huge and as with my 120 oceanic i know itll be in the way.... any expierences will be greatly apreciated..... thanks
