chinese leds
I hadn't used it over SPS dominant, but I did have a Mars Aqua light and it was better than I expected and cheap.

T5 bulbs to supplement mh?
I use Hamilton 250 Watt 14K with Hamilton T5 460nm Blue. It is a good combo for color and growth.

LED VS. Metal Halide
Well, if the MacBook sucks at growing SPS, then I agree. This is a no brainer. Go with the metal halides. After using Radions for 12 months, they don't compare at all to metal halides especially for SPS.

Metal Halides. Much better lighting choice especially for SPS than LEDs. I gave up on LEDs after 12 months and no growth.
