I apologize for "mislabeling" the anemone -sigh-. I did not know the name and I was describing what it looked like. It won't happen again. On a better note I got a few peppermint shrimp and they have eaten all of the <insert proper name> anemones.

It is covered in coralline allege, that’s why it is so dark. I have never gotten a real good look at the tentacles but they seem feathery.

Came on a piece of live rock I bought from the LFS display tank. At first I thought it was just an old fossil, but it opens and closes often and appears to have tentacles inside it. I think I have a least 3 of these on the rock. :?:

Hi, new to the hobby. I just bought a piece of live rock with some things on it. The head look kind of like the worm from Dune, and is heavily incrusted will coralline algae. At first I thought they were fossils but they open and close there mouths often. Also they appear to have tentacles...
