  1. LFS nudibranch

Identified as a 'velvet nudibranch.' It's dark purple/maroon with white strips, lavender underbelly, and flaming orange gills and antennae. I know they don't last long in aquariums, but I was just curious (considered buying anyway). Any info on ID, diet and care?
  2. How many people leave their Exoskelotons in the tank???

I've always left mine in. What the livestock won't pick at, the skimmer and filter will take care of after they dissolve.
  3. nano reef set up help

I have a friend with 5.5g containing a single oscellaris and a candy stripe shrimp along with a number of low light coral (no...
  4. Will a Blue Damsel attack Snails

  5. Invert tank?

  6. Filter help requested...

Thanks for the posts and, yes, I do have a DSB and quite a bit of LR (1 lb per gallon). I'm not a complete novice. Cost isn't really a consideration (to an extent). I just want a successful conversion from fish only to reef. By adding a sump I should be able to increase my bio load, right...
  7. Filter help requested...

First off, I am somewhat of a novice. I have been keeping a small (20 g) tank (successfully) for 3 years now. Until investing in adequate lighting it has been a fish only tank. I am now running MH lighting (250w) and have added some button polyps as a test run. Currently have 1 gramma and 1...
