Matt, I forgot to ask as what is the valve for from the pump when doing the GFo? Also do you test it before you use the recycled GFO if it okay to use and if so what tests?

yes I have done so. Looking to see for when that was posted that things changed for new products of GFO came out and if here anyone can tell me what GFO they using now and how it working for them.

I got a new current nova T5 lighting for my 75 gal. Now I have on my 120 gal are 2-250watt with 2 -110 t12 48" VHO UVL actinics. I see the T5 Actinics are blue in color and the T12 are purple in color. Question is blue or purple color better for coral? Asking as see more colors to pick now.

Who as live rock in there sump? How does that work for you and what does it do for you as to the water? When you have it in the sump do you have to remove it to clean the waste that builds up in the rocks in the sump bottom?
