this is a simple design, there are 2 inlets, 1 for water coming out and 1 for water going in, the water that goes in is the bigger fitting on top, this is conected to the coil of airline tube that is wrapped around on the inside where the bacteria lives then the water passes over some plastic...

yes sand down the edges after cutting

use weld on 16 to bond it with, as for cutting, use a very fine tooth blade on a circular saw, dont use a jig saw as the cut will not be straight.

i am looking into getting these to the USA but i need to find someone or company that will import them, i am in England UK so the cost to send 1 works out expensive unless its to someone in the aquatic trade.

the flow is not a problem, the flow from the 2 wave pumps hits the front and then get pushed down and then hits the back panel off the drop, so good flow all round.
