The PH of PURE water is exactly 7.00.How are you measuring PH? If you are using an electronic PH meter you are getting "false" PH readings on RO/DI water. RO/DI water has a VERY low electrical conductivity that affects the accuracy of PH meters.Do a chemical test,you'll see it's very close to...

I run my RO output water thru the Aquarium Pharm. TWP.I get 24 Ms out of the RO,1-2 Ms on the twp output. I've made approx. 100 gallons so far and the TWP is 1/10 purple.I was only getting 50 gallons out of a TWP before I used it with my RO.

Not to mention it would just about flash freeze any water that came in contact with the cooling coil.You would then have a huge "coilsickle" that wouldn't transfer much heat at all.
