i have what has been identified as amphipods. they must have hitched a ride on mangroves that i picked in puerto rico and put in my tank. my refugium is full of them. is it a good idea for me to introduce them to the aquarium? to consume some of the detritus? will they eat up the copopods?

i have no idea where they are from. should i introduce them to my tank? will they destroy the copopod population?

i have many of these shrimp like creatures. i have no idea where they came from. they are in my refugium/sump. can someone ID them, please?

i want to drill a hole for a 2" bulkhead (i guess the hole has to be 3") into an existing wet-dry/refugium that i have. can anyone refer me to a good place in the nyc metro area where i can bring my wet-dry and have the hole drilled.
