Ihave the CSL fixture that you are looking at on a 55 and i love them. Nice quiet fans and they don't get to hot.

Don't go with the Via Aqua multi skimmer it is a piece of crap. Not much different than a skilter wich is also junk. Use a sump and a good skimmer IMO a much better way to go.

Be careful what kind of rock you add. Some rocks may leach unwanted stuff into your tank. I used tufa rock for my tank seeded with some live rock and after about a month there was all kinds of stuff living on it.

Each white spot looks like it is sticking up off of the base and yes they do look like little anemones.

Try this one. It does look like it has small tenticals on the white spots. It's hard to get a good pic because they are only about the size of a pencil eraser.

I'll try and get a better picture.

Does any onyone know what these tan colored circles with white spots are? My guess would be sponges.
