well i had a blue ring 2 or 3 years ago in my 15 gallon. i put a really fine screen over the top where so there place was no way to escape. i never did aything special for it except feed it 2 fiddler crabs every 3 days or so. that was when i lived alone and didnt care days!!

my tank is kind of small 29 gallons but it has tons of ls and lr. the star is only a few inches.

thanks my nitates are at 0 and salinitys at .23 oh yeah temp is at 78. i have 4 turbos and are always slithering all over the tank so i dont think oxygen is the problem. anything else ?

i bought a small orange linckia star last week and it dosent move at all. all it does is hang out near the top of the water with an arm hanging out abouve the water sometimes. is this normal????/

well its a little 15 gallon show with a excaliber protein skimmer. the skimmer is working because i see the build up and been cleaning it once a week. it does have a overflow that comes with the skimmer but dosent really break the water surface too much .

how does everyone or anyone get rid of the layer of dust that accumulates on top. i did a water change but its still there.
