Use the Google photo search by taking a good picture of it with your phone. It will give a start to what species it could be.

If you can't use RO water, at least try a passive water filter. I think Zero water is better than a Brita filter. Zero water also comes with a tds meter. Just change the filter as needed.

I have a CO2 tank with solenoid sitting around for 15 years. Not sure if solenoid works. $5 or will trade for mushroom, leather, or zoa frag. Pick up 11229.
