hey anemonebuff, i had a bristleworm( i think )do something like you described a couple of days ago to one of my snails. it seems like i have heard somewhere that snails might do better with a slightly higher salinity but i could be wrong. has anyone else heard this. my 2 cents

i leave my lights on most of the time. every once in a while ill turn them off for a day or so. will 24 hour help to keep them from going sexual.

is there a way you can keep calerpa from going sexual. is there certain types that are worse than others. thanks, justin

wait 37 gallon is probably too small for a tang.

some tangs might also eat the stuff

yeah your probably right and i sure wouldnt want to do that(trim off the clam that is) do you feed your clams anything extra or is light enough

i have a 75 gal my lighting is 4 46.5 tubes at 110 watt each equaling 440 watts ran by an icecap ballast. is it possible to keep clams with this lighting and do certain clams require less light than others. thanks, justin

i tried to start a siphon using my mouth. needless to say, i ended up with saltwater in my mouth. that may not be my dumbest moment but it came to mind first.
