    As for Tangs i have a pair in my 80g. If you keep the blue tang, and I'm assuming you mean a regal tang, he will have to be your only tang. For the damsels, before you go digging what else are you planning on putting in there?

    I use DI water to top off and for changes. I have been thinking about the skimmer alot latley. I will try a few more big changes and see where that gets me. The change i described did slow the growth a bit. now how much is a skimmer going to set me back

    One other thing that can help is keeping your SG low. I keep mine a 1.19 because it is more difficult for parasites to grow. Do this in a FO only otherwise corals will suffer

    Well.....The Trigger finally lost his cool.....I'am minus a damsel and a trigger.....had to go to the lfs to return the trigger, and buy a new damsel for my wife :x. But the pearlscale butterfly fish i bought for me is pretty cool also :D

    a Yellow Tang in a 10g? GIMMIE SOME OF THE WEED THIS GUYS IS SMOKIN!!!!!!! I have an 80g tank. The two tangs i own (yellow and a naso) were kept in a 20g tank at the LFS. watching them enter my 80g was like looking in a kids eyes on christmas

    I also own an 80 gal tank. It FO though. I do a 10g water change every two weeks, 15 if needed. if i do more....I start kill things (to the tune of 200 bones). my levels stay acceptable for fish.

    I personally don't have green algae in my tank.....I feed my fish once a day, frozen brine shrimp and emerald entree is the brand name.....It is a omnivour diet food (tangs also eat zooplankton as they age). It works very very well

    I have a Clown Trigger that i have feed frozen squid and MAui Maui from the grocery store from day one. I have never had a problem with him not eating. I can tell you for sure if this will help your Huma though
