Just the stock filter(internal) that come with the tank(JBJ Nano). I put a foam that I change every 5 days carbon and chemi pure

Thinking about getting a G3 for my reef tank. Please help me with some advice.

I have a JBJ Nano tank and I had a Fluval filter hooked up to it. The filter went bad and now I have the stock filter running. Should I replace the fluval or just keep the filter the tank comes with?
