To bloom in my tank?

Hello I just bought a leather and was very big and tons of little pimples on it. I was wondering how long it takes for the leather to bloom?

a newb question I have two reef tanks runnig well 1 60 gallon acyrilic 4 months running and 1 29 gallon glass 12 days running I was wondering if I absoultly need a sump and what exactly it would do. I have skimmers on both tanks. Thanks

Here is my 60 gallon that I started 2 1/2 months ago. Let me know what else I should start adding.

What I did for one of my tanks was go to my local sign shop and got a piece of black vinyl and placed it on the back of my tank. Thehave many cool colors to choose from and you can change the color any time. just my 2 cents
