I've had a spotted mandarin in a 20g long frag tank for 2 1/2 years. I have a small CPRHOB refugium and he never looks hungry. He does eat flatworms also and I throw in bs nauplii once a month or so for the frags. Lots of pods in the tank and fuge.

I have a baby (1/4" across) that has migrated to and attached to the vertical face of my DIY light grid frag rack. How do I remove it or should I not move it? I could cut that piece of rack off with baby attached or I could try scraping it with a razor. Any suggestions?

Interesting Boomer. So the very compound that the bacteria oxidize also inhibits their growth? I'd like to see the equations on that. I'll have to do some research. And the facultative denitrification, would that indicate low oxygen since it is an anaerobic process?

unfortunately most of the worms are in the fuge so they would just continue re-infesting. Anyone ever had success with mandarins? I wanted some anyway. That's why I wanted lots of pods.
