  5. Question of star fish or sea stars

are they greyish, white? if they are, they may be asterinas. I had them before. they didn't bother my LPS but they seem to like to attach to my SPS, eventually bleaching them out.
  6. LFS In Staten Island

They have corals but I would check with them to see what they have before heading over there. http://www.manhattanreefs.com/forum/aquatic-obsessions/82693-store-contact-info.html
  7. Brittle star spawning ?????

Just curious...how often do these stars spawn. I noticed that I had one about 1 year ago. I last counted at least 7 of them in my tank. They rarely come out but I know they are there because of their tiny arms protruding from the rocks.
  8. LFS In Staten Island

You can make the trip to Aquatic Obsession. They are just over the bridge near Woodbridge Mall. They are also an MR vendor.
  9. Question

it may be a brittle star. I have one that only came out once as far as I know. Mine generally hides in a rock and only extends its legs out for food. As to where it came from, it is probably a stowaway like mine was.
  10. Any potential with Staten Island LFS?

Perhaps richardhmc should clarify the original question. Are we looking for an LFS for fishes or LFS for corals? That really makes a big difference. As far as pricing goes, it's really subjective. If you got the money, everything seems cheap. :)
  11. The End of Reefberry

    FragIM pronounced Frag 'em
  12. 3polyp Red Hornet Frag F/s

Thanks. I am not debating whether it is real or not. I am simply looking for ones that have alternating red and blue skirts.
  13. Any potential with Staten Island LFS?

it's hard to believe that rent in Bay Ridge is cheaper than SI. Good luck with your venture!
  14. 3polyp Red Hornet Frag F/s

are the skirts alternating red, blue? can't tell from the pic.
  15. Green Hair Alge in my zoos

I think if your nitrate and phosphate levels are good, it should die out on its own.
