are they greyish, white? if they are, they may be asterinas. I had them before. they didn't bother my LPS but they seem to like to attach to my SPS, eventually bleaching them out.
They have corals but I would check with them to see what they have before heading over there.

Just curious...how often do these stars spawn. I noticed that I had one about 1 year ago. I last counted at least 7 of them in my tank. They rarely come out but I know they are there because of their tiny arms protruding from the rocks.
it may be a brittle star. I have one that only came out once as far as I know. Mine generally hides in a rock and only extends its legs out for food. As to where it came from, it is probably a stowaway like mine was.
Perhaps richardhmc should clarify the original question. Are we looking for an LFS for fishes or LFS for corals? That really makes a big difference.
As far as pricing goes, it's really subjective. If you got the money, everything seems cheap. :)
